Tanknology

The Voice of Our Customers and Regulators:

First of all, I would to send out a huge thank you for the Tanknology team that was onsite (Dan Moseley and Jouhan Rivera).

Dan's professionalism and workmanship throughout the testing of our fuel systems were so important and insightful.

- Tony O'Sullivan, UBS

I want to share my sincere appreciation, which you will see below has already been shared with our internal departments earlier today, to your organization for the home-run that the Ohio Valley team hit for us last night in getting this tank interstice test accomplished!!

Brian Juratovac is the real star of this success story. When his phone rang yesterday, he thought he was entering a 3-day weekend after working-ahead this week to have Friday off at home in OH!! But he lifted a 9 hour commitment onto his back and jumped in his truck and headed South.

But let's not discount the rapport that Dan has with his technicians, where he knew he could call Brian and explain the situation and that he was confident it would result in a success story for both companies.

Tanknology is a valued and trusted partner with the Sheetz organization in ensuring that we meet our commitments for not only protecting the environment, but also for being available to provide fuel to our customers when they drive into our facilities.

These are the e-mails I love to write! While I'd like to have less of the types of headaches that force us to perform logistical gymnastics together, knowing that your team is available and committed to helping us when we call upon you makes them easier challenges to defeat.

- John Sieger, Manager of UST Compliance

Twice in the same week we received positive feedback from people regarding Seth Peikert.

  • Miriam Dias had a customer call her from Crystal Print... "received very high praise from Paul Damm at Crystal Print. He said it's not very often that he encounters a tech on site that displayed the level of professionalism that Seth did."
  • Jack Schaab was working with a trainee on Kwik Trips and they have a unique ATG and Seth is the expert at dealing with them. Jack sent the email saying: "Myself and a trainee have been doing Kwik Trips for a couple weeks. Seth has gone over and above helping us with issues with the monitor system several times a day. He has been extremely helpful. He is definitely the recommended trainer for these KT sites."

Seth continues to go above and beyond for us and is always willing to help.

Kevin - thanks for the email. It's greatly appreciated. I also want to say that I've worked with a number of your technicians and while today's testing was short (and sweet) I just want to say that it's always a pleasure working with David (Kirby). His conduct, professionalism, and knowledge are all top notch and he's a great asset to your team, and to us when he's testing for us.
- Stephen Tomczewski, EA Engineering

Tanknology charges a lot for testing, but I hope to God that Jeff Calhoun does all our testing in the future. Jeff is the greatest technician, explaining things and very thorough. In a world where most people are sending negative messages, I wanted to pass along this positive message.
- Vic, Krage's Mobil

Allen,

I wanted to send a quick note to recognize Kim's job-well-done in Dan's absence. While we are quite accustomed to Kim's communications savvy, attention to detail and professionalism, we know that she is juggling even more daily catastrophes than usual with Dan being away! So we felt it necessary to send some accolades her way.

Kim, Thank You! To the Sheetz Compliance team, you are a shining star on the Tanknology team and we truly appreciate all you do for us!

John Sieger, Environmental Compliance Manager, Sheetz

Mike Patel owner of RK Foods in Toccoa, GA wanted to express his gratitude to Dustin, Hope and Kevin Gregory on the CP repair at his location. He was pleased with the communication from all and getting the job knocked out in the allotted time by the state. He also said Kevin was professional on site and did a great job with the install and left the site looking better than when he began repair.

Your technician - Teddy (Barnett)- completed the project today - he is a pleasure to work with.
- Erick Bretz, 3M

Thanks to Steve Edgley and Aaron Page for their professional service.
- John White, Houston Methodist Hospital

Thornton's Field Compliance Coordinator, Scott A. Roberts, engaged Tanknology to address compliance violations resulting from inconsistent monthly inspections: "We received a notice of violation for Thorntons 707 from a UST Compliance inspection and it was for inconsistency with the monthly inspections. Mostly the fault of our previous vendor, however, we need to be sure of a couple things for these particular inspections. We need to be sure that the monthly inspections are completed in 30 days and not to exceed beyond 35 days from the previous inspection. Apparently that is a violation in Florida..."

Tanknology assigned inspector, Rick Harford, to meet the need. Scott's feedback: "The inspector did say that since Nov 2016 we've done a great job on the inspections, so thank you Rick for your diligence!".
- Scott A. Roberts, Field Compliance Coordinator

My name is Don Johnson and I'm the Environmental Engineer for the Buffalo and Batavia VA Medical Centers. Tanknology testing technicians Peter Woicik and Greg Pearsall, assisted by David Edens just completed testing of three 40K gal. underground tanks and a 4K gal. underground tank at our Buffalo facility yesterday.

At times when feedback often seems negative, here's a case where it's very positive. I'll start by saying that the weather here in Buffalo this week has been and continues to be brutal, even by our standards. On day 1 the Tanknology crew showed up and got started with their setup without hesitation.

The next step was to position a lift near three vent pipes that terminate two stories high on the wall of the boiler plant. The problems started when the lift got stuck in ground that had not yet frozen. We worked together to try to get them pulled out. I made a call to Clem and Chris who sent me a message alleviating us from responsibility if the rental lift was damaged in the process. After three attempts (Bobcat/Fork Lift/577K Loader) we got it out without any damage.

They got the other tank tested the first day despite some computer issues. The next day David came out, purchased a ladder and assisted with the vent caps. He safely secured the ladder and successfully removed them. I was concerned about the weather that was supposed to hit at 1:00 p.m., and it did. The crew worked through it and even resolved an air leak in a manway flange.

By the time the crew left last night, the intended work had been accomplished, 6 inches the snow had fallen and what was still coming down hard was blowing sideways. The wind chill was below 0 and falling.

David basically said all in a day's work. Well, I've been doing hydrogeologic work for about 30 years, some in Alaska and some international. It wasn't by any means a typical two days and your crew is to be commended for their ability and perseverance. All of this without a single complaint.

Please pass this along on my behalf.

Thank you. - Don Johnson, Environmental Engineer / GEMS Coordinator

"Your tech (Juan Mejia) was here earlier today and was very helpful in assisting and advising me with the violation notices we received from the DEC. He conducted the cathodic protection survey and suggested some documents we should take to the hearing."
- Frankie Gobin, London Towncars, Inc.

Thank you for providing the service to clean our 10,000 Gallon Above Ground 100LL Tank. Your technician John Lamm did a great job taking out and filtering all the impurities from our fuel tank. John took a sample before and after the procedure and as I said. Great job! Your technician John was a pleasure to meet and work with. Take care of this guy, he knows what he is doing and a great representative for your company.
Thank You,
- Kenneth Serzynski, GM.

"Just wanted to drop a quick line to let you know Tanknology was out here today, the tech was John Lamm. TOTALLY professional during his entire stay, and even the fuel driver from Usher Transport complimented John and how polite and smart he was. VERY easy to work with, which made my day! Thanks a lot!! "
- Holly Borden, XPO Logistics

"I was able to witness the sump repairs at all three of the sites this week. Just wanted to let you know that I was very impressed by the work ethic of the installing crew (Randall Waybright, Ian Chrisman, Frank Gardner). They took pride in their work, and were persistent in getting things done in spite of hot, humid weather, and what looks to be back-breaking work leaning down in tank sumps all day. Please pass on my appreciation to them for a well done job this week, Kroger appreciates their efforts. Thank you."
- Mark Gruggett, Kroger.

"The tech (Juan Mejia) that you sent yesterday was very professional and went over everything to the T. That goes a long way with me."
- Terence Walls, Churchman Village.

"I want to take this time to say Mr. Kirby (David Kirby) was very professional and through. There was a lot of unexpected guest at this test site. He handled it extremely well. He went through each step of the procedure. I have not seen any other Tech do this. Very informative."
- Charles Floyd, SBG-EEG.

"I don't remember it being explained in this manner. I was expecting notations in the comment section, but this is better. WOW!! Excel Tracker too for each site… AMAZAING!! You don't know how important this is for AT&T.This will be a huge benefit to updating our system correctly and performing only necessary tests. You're AWESOME!! (Steve Bodner) Thanks Much!!"
- Versia D McDonald, AT&T Services Inc.

Well Done Congratulations on your continued
great work!
